Goals and Objectives

The St. Vincent de Ferrer College of Camarin, Inc. is a non-sectarian, non-stock and non-profit association under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

The purpose or purposes of the College shall be to provide courses of study in Pre-school, elementary, SPED, High School, Tertiary and Vocational Technology (Voc-Tech) Education Programs and to be a TESDA Assessment and Training Centers subject to the laws of the Philippines.

Inspired by a deep sense of commitment and avowed mission, the College shall aim to realize the following:

  1. Attainment of 100% employability of Vincentian graduates.
  2. Becoming the preferred supplier of market and industry specific professionals and skilled employees for Caloocan based industries.
  3. Center of excellence for “best-in-Caloocan” courses in several key fields of specialization.
  4. Enhancement of faculty development and continuing professional education graduates in the pursuit of life-long academic and professional excellence.
  5. Making relevant research and extension services for the socio-economic growth of progressive communities in Caloocan and the country at large.
  6. Reduction of the cost of quality education to the residents of Camarin and Caloocan City specially from among its poor and under privileged familes.
Objectives
  1. To offer professional degree programs, non-degree certificate courses and work-oriented technology-based skills trainings that are attuned to the skills and professional requirements and career opportunities available in the business and industrial sectors of Caloocan City and the country's economy, in general.
  2. To produce quality graduates with industry specific skills and professional education tailored to the preference and desired level of professionalism of Caloocan and Metro Manila-based industries.
  3. To develop cutting-edge “best-in-Caloocan” educational programs in major fields of endeavor for the new Millennium.
  4. To strengthen the teaching, research, administrative and organizational capabilities of the College through continuous upgrading of skills and academic education of its faculty and administrative staff.
  5. To implement extension programs with the government and non-government organizations to complement Caloocan City's capability of delivering basic government services.
  6. To lighten the burden of the residents of Camarin, Caloocan by extending low-cost of educating their children while enjoying high quality college education that are designed to level the playing fields for the poor but deserving students.
